Responsibilities:

  • Track target audiences, competitive landscape, societal trends, pre-campaign insights, post-campaign effectiveness for WXIA/WATL, and its advertisers

  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on key performance metrics for TV, sales, and digital

  • Find data stories from internal and external research sources

  • Simplify complex information into proper context with actionable insights

  • Prepare compelling and succinct presentations to different personality types--executives, salespeople, journalists, and marketers

  • Collaborate with news, sales, and marketing on strategies that drive ratings and revenue

  • Develop and design market research study briefs, methodologies, and consumer profiles/personas

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors on executing research

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7+ years' experience in broadcast media or related

  • Thorough understanding of audience measurement tools; Nielsen, com

Score, Google Analytics, and consumer-facing analytics; social media, Scarborough, Media Monitors

  • Strong command of software tools: Wide Orbit Media Sales, Nielsen applications (NLTV, Arianna), Google Data Studio, TV Essentials (comScoreTV), Prime Lingo (Scarborough), Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Self-starter who can identify what needs to be done, in what order, and then do it

  • Proven skills/examples of being a data storyteller

  • Strong verbal and visual communication of research information

  • Capability to streamline basic, regular reporting to create more time for high-value work

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Life-long learner who can adapt to new software programs and research tools

  • Understanding of the role attribution plays in sales and marketing

  • Must be willing to work on site in Atlanta GA. This is not a remote position.

Business Strategy Planning Director- GBD Claims Market Services Location: The ideal candidate would be located in an Eastern or Central time zone, yet this position will consider other Anthem locations. Anthem's Government Business Group's Claims Market Services group is looking for a Business Strategy Planning Director to join its team. This high-performing individual contributor will function as a change leader and strategic partner in the delivery of key initiatives inclusive of people, process and technology components. He/she will be responsible for driving the execution of the team's project roadmap including key deliverables and deadlines related to their strategic planning and value delivery. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future. * Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality. * Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems. * Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment. * Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities. * Utilizes facilitation, project management and process improvement skills to lead large-scale initiatives to drive out key drivers of customer abrasion and unnecessary costs. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 year strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
