Requirements / Qualifications
Employment Standards: 1. Possess a valid California Administrative Services credential; 2.
Hold a Master's Degree from an accredited institution with specialization in school administration, instruction, special education, pupil personnel, or alternative job-related training which demonstrates research and program evaluation skills serving special populations, and academic proficiency in a job-related major or specialization. 3. Has demonstrated at least five (5) years' experience in public school teaching and/or administrative experience, preferably in Special Education 4. Demonstrated professional leadership with community agencies, professional organizations, community or volunteer committees/organizations, and/or with academic or private institutions/businesses. 5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable.
