The Assistant Director of Quality Management is responsible for supporting the Directors and VP of Quality Management in disseminating and supporting the Medical Center's quality and safety management program and assisting them with the development and analysis of the plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement. This individual is responsible for assisting with the development of protocols and instruments, collecting and reporting data, determining necessary process changes and guiding various teams/departments to implement these changes, while monitoring and documenting outcomes to ensure that quality programs meet or exceed guidelines or requirements including, but not limited to, value based purchasing performance and other pay-for-performance programs. The Assistant Director, under the direction of the Directors and the Vice President of Quality Management, will work to ensure the organization is well prepared for all regulatory surveys and meets all regulatory agency reporting requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Hospital or Business Administration, Nursing or related field is required.
Master's degree in Hospital or Business Administration, Nursing or related field preferred.
CPHQ certification preferred.
Knowledge of the Joint Commission, DNV, CMS and the New York State Health Department accreditation requirements.
