What You Will Be Doing

As the Assistant Director of Public Works, you will assist in direction, strategic planning and issues definition, management and the development and implementation of departmental goals, objectives, policies and priorities for each assigned service and/or operational area; oversee the development and implementation of policies and plans related to departmental services and operations.

What You Bring To Us

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field is required.

  • Eight (8) years water and sewer construction experience, four (4) years of which are in a lead or supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • You anticipate employee needs and relentlessly pursue solutions.

  • You maintain a high level of discretion, independent judgment, and initiative.
