Shore Acres Care Center is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our Management Team. The qualified individual must be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment to ensure the highest level of care is provided to our residents.

Responsibilities include Staff Education, Infection Control Nurse, and Restorative Nurse.

This position will be responsible for tracking and trending any infection control issues in the building. The Assistant Director of Nursing will also be responsible for all education in the facility including any required classes for survey preparedness.

This position will be responsible for orientation of any new employees hired by the facility. The ADON will report directly to the Director of Nursing and will be follow directives given by the Director of Nursing. Communication, coaching and organizational skills are critical in this position.


Must hold current RN License. Must have a current/active CPR certification. You need to be comfortable working with new technology and be a critical thinker You need to be able to multi-task, manage your time really well with strong attention to detail You need to be an excellent communicator and team player You need to have a high level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality

Must have experience in a skilled nursing facility
