NaphCare is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at the Arizona State Department of Corrections - Lewis facility in Buckeye, AZ! Pay rates range from $44.00 - $55.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, and experience. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs can be discussed upon interview.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

• providing supervision of nursing and support staff on assigned shifts

• providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients

• Bachelor's degree or RN with two years experience preferred

• Must hold valid RN license in applicable state

• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification

• Prior experience providing nursing care, working with a high degree of autonomy required

• Prior experience in supervising nursing staff preferred

• Experience working in a correctional environment preferred

• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
