Assistant Director Of Housing And Student Life

This position is charged with shaping the environment of students living on campus through services and programs provided to students through campus housing and student life activities. The Assistant Director of Housing and Student Life works collaboratively with the Director of Housing and is responsible and accountable for on-campus student housing daily and to provide effective leadership and management for the housing office. Supervises directly/indirectly Resident Assistants and Student Workers.

The Assistant Director of Housing and Student Life is required to live on campus in the College apartments, with the apartment and appropriate utilities (gas, electricity, internet, reserved parking, and business cell phone) provided by the College. Some holidays may have to be taken at other times, and all absences must be approved in advance by the Director of Housing with plans for coverage in place. On-call rotation schedule as assigned.

Bachelor's degree is required with experience in related field preferred; Master's degree in College Student Personnel Services, or similar field, with experience in higher education preferred. Must possess mature judgment and be committed to student development.

Salary range is $35,568 - $39,500. Excellent fringe benefit package including, but not limited to health, dental, vision, and life insurance; sick and vacation leave; and the Missouri Public School & Education Employee Retirement System.
