Woodcrest Villa is a growing Independent Living Campus.

CURRENT OPENING:

  • Full-time: 80 hours biweekly: 8:00AM-4:30PM

  • Typically, Monday through Friday.

  • On-call.

The Assistant Director of Facilities is to assist the Director of Facilities (MH/WCV)with staffing, work duties, and other miscellaneous tasks in maintaining the facilities and grounds at both Mennonite Home and Woodcrest Villa in accordance with Mennonite Home Communities standards. This role is performed in accordance with Mennonite Home Communities Core Values, Mission Statement, regulations, and servers as leadership within the Facilities Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid PA Drivers License and a minimum of two years driving experience required.High school diploma or equivalent.Additional training in maintenance preferred.A minimum of at least five (5) years of experience in skilled maintenance.At least three (3) years of supervisory experience.Computer skills needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Ensures that quality services are provided efficiently and effectively in the maintenance of MH and WCV campuses.Plans, organizes, delegates, and/or monitors the following: resident repair requests, completion of work order form and preventive maintenance programs. Oversees shuttle bus services, campus shuttle services, grounds care scheduling, outside contractors doing work for grounds, snow and ice procedures, and helps with inventory control.Coordinates the following with employees and contractors: work schedules, duties, and tasks to be performed, and standards of performance.Interviews perspective employees and/or delegates the interviewing to the appropriate team member.Manages the department budget.Monitors financial results and payroll data.
