Primary Event Manager for Soccer, Women's Basketball, Swim & Dive, and Softball. Establish and implement policies and procedures for assigned sports and facilities in accordance with University of South Dakota, Summit League, and NCAA policies.

Hire, train, and evaluate part-time event staff and oversee the accompanying budget. Schedule and supervise game day staff for assigned athletic and special events. Oversee parking operations for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Volleyball.

Assist in planning and coordinating for assigned Summit League and NCAA post-season tournament games. Maintain consistent communication with a variety of constituents such as campus partners, coaches, administrators, officials, and conference representatives. Work as a liaison with campus and external rentals within the athletic facilities to execute successful events.

Serve in a leadership role for game day operations for Golf, Tennis, and Track & Field. Oversee scheduling for athletic spaces and coordinate practice and event set-ups accordingly. Secure services, supplies, and equipment for rentals through outside vendors and dealers.

Shift: Evening and weekend work required. Also requires work outdoors.

Requirements:

Undergraduate Degree in business, athletic administration or related field. Comprehensive knowledge and skills related to game day staff management, customer service, and budget management.

Desired:

Master's Degree preferred. Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude in a high paced environment. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, maintain confidentiality and take direction from a variety of sources.
