The Auxiliary Services Department at Saint Michael's College invites applications for the Assistant Director for Conferences and Special Events position. The Assistant Director will be instrumental in providing event support for students, employees, presenters, and guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling and implementing special events on Saint Michael's campus
Answering inquiries to on/off campus clients quickly, courteously and correctly via phone, e-mail, mail, and in person
Supervising Special Events Student employees
Compiling detailed plans that direct departments to collaborate, ensuring successful events

Requirements:
Applicants must have the following:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in event management, customer service, and event planning
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel, and Adobe products
Experience with scheduling software (EMS) preferred
