Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

The Assistant Director of Community Pathways to Healthcare and Emerging Programs is a new position that will support and facilitate the build and management of new onramps from community hubs as well as important workforce and industry partnerships across the region. These onramps will lead community members and incumbent workers to existing and new programming in a variety of new courses in the non-credit healthcare suite and emerging industries. The assistant director will focus on supporting the important infrastructure to scale numbers in workforce career training for Healthcare. This work will focus on all administration, recruiting, data and enrollment platforms and reporting related to CNA, Hospice and Memory Care, and BLS training. This position will be the Framingham onsite point person in person on Fridays, Saturdays and some Sundays. They will work with a team to facilitate community events, onramp bridge to industry kiosks, partnership fairs, and assimilate as a participant into successful events upon partner requests.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and support community and partnership pipeline to training and industry;

  • Develop and support new programming for incumbent workers within industry partner sites;

  • Facilitate new engaging community events, industry-informing kiosks, community fairs - targeting Framingham and Waltham;

  • Develop new relationships with community members and partnerships to build and scale CPWD pathways to healthcare and emerging programming;

  • Manage all data coordination and report writing in Salesforce and Coursestorm;

  • Represent innovation and collective impact across the region;

  • Recruit, manage, and oversee as well as promote Certified Nursing Assistant training programs;

  • Ensure all compliance with program certification requirements for CNA and other emerging programming that serves the healthcare industry;

  • Scale programming to meet the training needs of industry partners;

  • Work across departments and community and industry partnerships to build successful pathways;

  • Work with industry partners and accreditation partners to ensure compliance of all certifications;

  • Oversee all viewpoint compliance for clinical;

  • Monitor all student compliance and attendance and provide referrals to support services as appropriate;

  • Collect and analyze data to monitor and evaluate student outcomes.

  • Work Schedule: Must be onsite in Framingham Fridays and Saturdays. Some evenings and occasional Sundays for a community event.

Required Qualifications:

  • Programming experience and working with community and industry partners;

  • Understanding workings and structure of credit and non-credit programming in higher education;

  • Ability to engage with external constituents from many diverse backgrounds, prioritizing varying agendas;

  • Able to work evenings and weekends and travel regionally;

  • Direct, promote and manage large community events;

  • Research and solve problems as barriers present themselves;

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, organizing and working with technology LMS and CRM;

  • Experience building successful programming in a diverse environment;

  • Commitment to collaborating and creating space for participation;

  • Familiarity with postsecondary education, Training Programs and Community Learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action and workforce diversity;

  • Experience working in a diverse environment;

  • Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved students;

  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese;

  • Community Development experience;

  • Program management experience;

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with English language learners, adult learners, first-generation students, and students who need support to enroll in college-level coursework.

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - 75,000.00 Annual Salary
