The Assistant Director of Athletics reports to the Director of Athletics and is part of an interscholastic athletics program that includes 30 interscholastic teams across two divisions, and a robust physical education program. The Assistant Director of Athletics - Middle School is responsible for Operations, Communications and Sports Information for the Middle School and is responsible for assisting in developing, maintaining, and implementing a highly professional department. The ideal candidate will have a positive, welcoming demeanor and desire to be part of the larger school community. Responsibilities (including but are not limited to:) Department Support: ? Support the Director of Athletics & department in all areas of responsibility requested within the athletic and physical education programs. ? Assist with department management of Middle School coaches ? Inventory and organization of all Middle School athletics sports equipment ? Order equipment and uniforms as needed for Middle School sports ? Organize uniforms and equipment in storage areas Student and Athlete Support: ? Organize all aspects of transportation for Middle School athletics including Middle School PE ? Assist or lead Middle School PE with Middle School PE faculty ? Provide supervision to Middle School students on the bus to and from Hiller to Lafayette campuses Game Support: ? Serve as lead on running interscholastic home athletic events, including necessary set-up and welcoming
