The Office of Advancement, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is seeking an Assistant Director of Annual Giving for Leadership Annual Giving Outreach responsible for increasing engagement of and contact with leadership donors and prospects. Outreach will include at least 150 targeted and documented leadership annual giving solicitations via email, FaceTime/Skype/Zoom, and personal correspondence.
The Assistant Director will interact and work with internal and external audiences including UTK advancement staff partners, faculty, and staff in each college, and department and programs across the Knoxville campus to address questions and foster relationships with donors who are contacted.
This position will also work will also be responsible for strategic outreach to increase matching gift fulfillment and the number of recurring, non-ending donors. Matching gift fulfillment will be accomplished by contacting donors with a matching gift company employer to help them take advantage of their company's matching gift program before the eligibility period ends.
To increase the number of recurring, non-ending donors, this position will contact donors with completed scheduled payments and finite recurring commitments to secure recurring, non-ending, monthly/quarterly commitments.

A bachelor degree with 3 years of experience in university advancement, non-profit, or sales with donor/customer service experience or a master degree with 1 years of experience required.
Strong interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills are required. Experience recruiting and managing volunteers is preferred.
