Assistant Director Of Admissions

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

Xaverian is seeking applications for a full-time, year-round Assistant Director of Admissions who will represent the school at a variety of on-campus and off-campus events, build relationships with prospective families and staff from area schools, and assist in the annual recruitment and enrollment of new students.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent Xaverian at school fairs, classroom visits, and other off-campus events

• Coordinate the "Hawk for a Day" shadow visit program

• Coordinate the on-campus tour program

• Manage student ambassadors

• Coordinate entrance exams

• Serve as a member of the admissions reading committee

• Conduct admission interviews

• Assist in the planning of events including open house, information nights, community receptions, and accepted student night

• Connect with families via phone, email, and Zoom

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills

• Proficiency with technology including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom

• Experience with Ravenna, Blackbaud, and Constant Contact is preferred; however, training will be provided

• Availability for occasional nights and weekend events
