GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Assistant Director of Admissions Operations for the School of Graduate, Online and Continuing Education is responsible for managing the graduate admissions processes for the University. This position partners with the Office of Admissions and other related departments to develop and maintain structures that streamline and advance admissions work through technology, current communication and effective distribution of admissions related work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the application, file review process and distribution of admissions decisions across programs in SGOCE in consultation with the Assistant Dean of Enrollment and the SGOCE program chairs.

  • Develops and manages queries and reports to assess data to facilitate data cleanup and the streamlining and improvement of processes.

  • Support Assistant Dean of Enrollment in the development, maintenance and distribution of reports, queries and dashboards as needed by the school that allow for predictive analysis of the applicant funnel by program and also comprehensive school analysis.

  • Serve as the SGOCE Slate Manager and representative and collaborate with related departments such as Admissions, the SGOCE team, Registrar's Office, Financial Aid, IT and others to understand changing trends, identity and address needs and seek opportunities for continuous improvement and streamlined use of the system.

  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Admissions Operations to maintain features and capabilities of CRM components, ensuring they are functional and troubleshoots to resolve issues as required.

  • Responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Admissions Operations with the development and maintenance of Slate and Banner process for graduate admissions used by SGOCE staff, the admissions office, academic departments and others, specifically the admissions application and document workflow.

  • Collaborates with the SGOCE Team, Admissions and the office of Marketing and Integrated Communications to assist with the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive communication plan for the school.

  • Provides end-user support and training for graduate program chairs, department chairs, and advisors regarding graduate admissions application processing in Slate.

  • Manages admission operations for all extended campus programs. Works collaboratively with the Associate Dean of SGOCE and the Center for Professional Studies to support admissions operations for sites and the site coordinators.

  • Maintain features and capabilities of CRM components, ensuring they are functional and up-to-date, and troubleshoot and resolve issues as required.

  • Participates in the annual and on-going strategic planning for the School of Graduate, Online and Continuing Education, and the University as needed.

  • Completes all mandatory training and participates in a minimum of one CRM (Slate) or SIS (Banner) related professional development each year.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, master preferred.

  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive work experience with CRM systems administration.

  • Extensive experience with a CRM system, preferably Slate.

  • Knowledge and experience in college recruitment/admissions.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new technologies or services.

  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data and use data to evaluate, troubleshoot and problem solve.

  • Proven ability to meet performance goals.

  • High energy, enthusiasm, and creativity.

  • The ability to work successfully independently as well as a member of a team.

  • Ability to create, analyze, and present statistical data.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.

  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail with a proven commitment to a service-friendly environment.

  • Willingness to travel and work evenings and some weekends, valid driver's license required.

  • Ability to perform the above duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to satisfactorily pass a check conducted by the Criminal History Systems Board (CORI check), A SORI and a background check satisfactory to the university.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with CRM, document imaging software, admissions and/or university information system including Technolutions' Slate and Ellucian's Banner.

  • Coding experience with one or more programming languages such as HTML, SQL, XML, Javascript, etc.

  • Ability to manage complex processes and concurrent projects.

  • Demonstrated success in leveraging CRM systems to analyze and address complex issues, offering innovative solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, benefited, exempt, professional APA position. The annual salary range for this position is $65K - $70K.
