Wynn Resorts is the recipient of more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the world. Wynn Las Vegas opened on April 28, 2005 and was once again named the best resort in Nevada on Cond Nast Traveler's 2018 "Gold List," a title received for the tenth time. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.
The Assistant Director of WLV/Encore Nightclub Security will be responsible and have oversight of the following:
Acts as the direct liaison for the Wynn/Encore Security Director.
Maintains an open line of communication with Senior Staff and meet on a regular basis to discuss status, issues, and progress of nightclubs.
Ensures policies are current and observed by all nightclub security officers and staff. Creates policies as needed.
Monitors entrance/exit line compliance, VIP accommodations, professionalism of security personnel and continual training of staff to maintain highest Wynn standards. Coordinates security for all high profile guests and their executive protection.
Coordinates with Corporate Security personnel on the following:
Monitors behavior of: bartenders, hosts, cocktail servers, nightclub management and security personnel.
Monitors interactions of club hosts and guests.
Conducts and oversees due diligence integrity checks for all club representatives.
Ensures compliance of County, State, and Federal laws as well as Alcohol and Gaming regulations. Remain cognizant of health and safety issues. Monitor employee relations and misconduct to ensure a pleasant working environment. Ensure all safety issues are addressed.
Conducts risk assessment evaluations to limit and correct problematic issues that may arise in various situations, such as entry lines, overcrowding and night club capacity.
Monitors and mediate complaints of guests and employees.
Coordinates with LVMPD personnel with respect to narcotics drop boxes and other legal issues relating to nightclub activity.
Minimum of (5) five years prior experience in Hotel/ Nightclub/Casino Security or Law Enforcement.
Prior law enforcement experience is preferred
Working knowledge of all state, federal and gaming laws and regulations
A willing to work in a loud and smoke filled environment
A valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness card are required and must be obtained before entering this position.
Must be 21 years of age or over.
