The Associate Director will be tasked with planning and implementing the long-term marketing & communication strategies for Rutgers Camdens undergraduate programs. The Associate Director will have a solid understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies and will offer recommendations for messaging solutions, which are grounded in research and best practice, to both external and internal audiences in a variety of media, web, print, mail, social, event, and more.
The Associate Director will collaborate and serve as the representative for all undergraduate programs as a member of a newly created marketing communications department and will interact with students, faculty, administrators, and alumni. The Associate Director will serve as a senior member of the team to assist with concept development, quality control and ensure assignments deliver on time and on budget. The Associate Director may supervise strategic partners such as agencies, freelance talent, video and interactive vendors, printers, and manage complex projects for the campus. Working with the Director of Campus Marketing, their responsibilities include planning, development and implementation of all Rutgers Camden undergraduate marketing strategies and marketing communications.
