Job Summary

The Assistant Director of the One Stop Shop in Indianapolis is responsible for developing and delivering a wide range of financial aid services including overseeing customer service and leading the coordination of¬ work between Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registrar offices. Assists Associate Director with the coordination/development and the implementation of the institutional strategy for PIN location.

Serves as a member of the management team within the Division of Financial Aid for daily operations. Works in the development of counseling information and training materials as well as outreaches for PIN One Stop Shop. Serves as the Liaison with the PIN Admissions team for all visit day programs and recruitment efforts. This position works closely with functional offices, including Registrar, Financial Aid, and the Bursar's Office.

What We Are Looking For :

Required:

  • BA/BS degree with minimum of six (6) to seven (7) years of experience.

  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in student advisory or counseling/service capacity, which may include financial aid, admissions, recruitment, registrar, advising, student activities, student life or other related student-oriented program/office with some supervisory and/or programming and/or leadership and/or committee, and/or processing experience.

Preferred:

  • Supervisory experience and skills.

  • Excellent analytical and counseling skills.

  • Experience with automated systems, knowledge of federal financial aid policies and regulations, or Bursar/Registrar experience.

All positions include travel as well as evening and weekend work.

FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime)
