Assistant Director for Student Life and Events
Overview
This position reports to the Law School's Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Dean of Students for Upper Division and is responsible for a wide range of activities to help plan and support Law School events and conferences. Collaborating with and delegating to the Events Coordinator, the Assistant Director will work with stakeholders throughout the Law School and with external partners to plan programs and events from conception through the execution and debriefing stages.
Creativity, knowledge of event planning protocols and technology, professionalism, and attention to detail are a must for this public-facing position that regularly interacts with event guests and members of the Law School community. While most Law School events take place during regular business hours, some evening and weekend work will be required.
