DUTIES:

The University of South Florida Muma College of Business Graduate Programs office serves approximately 2000 students in master's, doctoral, and graduate certificate programs across all three campuses- Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee.

The Assistant Director for Graduate Recruitment manages and directs the recruitment function for the Muma College of Business Graduate programs, including the MBA and Specialty Master's portfolio. This position supervises graduate recruitment team members, oversees the lead generation process, and recommends and implements policies to optimize the recruitment funnel. Overall strategy is developed in collaboration with program directors and the dean's office.

Additionally, the position is responsible for working with the Communication & Marketing Director to effectively manage the marketing strategy for graduate programs.

Recruitment management: Manages the recruitment function for the Muma College of Business Graduate programs, in particular the MBA and specialty master's portfolio across USF's three campuses and on-line programs.

Duties include: Lead generation activities including building employer relationships as potential career pipelines, purchasing lead lists from various vendors and working with marketing on ad campaigns. Also, applicant counseling, lead nurturing, and measurement/reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to graduate recruitment.

Personnel management: Supervises staff relevant to the recruitment function, including admissions counselors, application document processors, and student assistants.

Event planning and implementation: Responsible for the planning, implementation and hosting of various recruitment related events such as information sessions (either virtual, on site or off site), appearances at conferences/conventions, classroom presentations, and other events considered to be opportunities to recruit or nurture recruitment leads.

Marketing: Collaborate with marketing & communications team to develop advertising plans (including budgeting) to promote the graduate program portfolio.

Recruitment plan development: Works with program directors and dean's office to formulate and refine effective recruitment plans that consider the unique audience and goals of the various programs in the portfolio.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of four years related exempt experience, including two years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recruitment or enrollment management experience in a higher education setting. Degree in Business, Higher Education or related field.
