Job Summary
Provide Faculty Engagement strategic vision within Academic Initiatives as part of Residential Life. Oversee the Faculty Fellow program and all faculty connection and recognition programs developed by Residential Life including the Amelia Earhart Faculty in Residence program and the Live-in Executive in Residence program. Maintain a commitment to the success of Purdue's targeted initiative areas, including but not limited to Transformative Education 2.0, Steps to Leaps, Student Wellness, The Track, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, and Academic & Student Success.
Who We Are
The Residential Life Team at Purdue University supports the nearly 16,000 residential students living on Purdue University's West Lafayette campus. Our team is comprised of nearly 30 professional staff members working on several teams. This includes our Coordinators and Assistant Directors of Residential Life providing direct support to our communities, our Residential Academic Initiatives team supporting the larger projects and programs of the department, and our Student Leadership and Multilcultural Education team supporting the many student organizations within our department.

What We Are Looking For
Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in education, management, or related field
Five years of experience in living and learning communities, Residential Life, fraternity & sorority life, student activities, or related
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
For example, an Associate's degree and seven years of experience
Experience with curriculum and co-curricular program development
Experience integrating co-curricular learning into the residential experience
Experience positively collaborating with academic departments and faculty
Preferred:
Master's degree, preferably in higher education, education, or a related discipline Experience supervising full time staff
Three or more years working with living and learning programs
