The future is here!The Assistant Director, Enrollment Strategy & Services, reports to the Senior Director and is responsible for developing and executing recruitment, communication, and outreach plans to engage prospective students with Davidson-Davie Community College (DDCC). The position involves collaboration with faculty, staff, students, schools, and the community to create effective ways for prospective students to discover and enroll in certificate, diploma and degree programs at DDCC. The Assistant Director is responsible for recruiting and evaluating candidates for the College's competitive entry programs. This twelve-month position entails the following key responsibilities:
Collaborates with the Senior Director to develop comprehensive communication and outreach plans for prospective students.
Collaborates with Deans, Division Chairs, and Program Directors to manage competitive entry admissions programs, including recruitment campaigns, application reviews, and acceptance determinations.
Leads the Programs with Special Criteria (PWSC) area, overseeing promotion, evaluation, communication, and decision management for competitive entry programs at the College.
Manages the CRM to maintain up-to-date records on prospective students, utilizing data to inform best practices for communication and engagement.
Serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) to support F-1 international students' onboarding and SEVIS eligibility.
Communicates effectively with prospective students, parents, high schools, and community groups through recruitment events and workshops.
Conducts oral presentations to encourage enrollment at high schools, college fairs, and community events.
Provides program information and career resources to prospective students, facilitating connections with College departments.
Monitors prospective student progress through the funnel, adjusting recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals.
Assists prospective students with residency determination, admissions applications, FAFSA completion, and other enrollment-related processes.
Distributes the Davidson-Davie Admissions Newsletter to high schools and community businesses.
Promotes recruitment among College faculty and staff, stays informed on trends in higher education, and participates in enrollment management planning.
Provides supervision to part-time staff and work-study students
Maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds.
Supports the mission, vision, and values of the College and attends College events and meetings
Performs other tasks as assigned which support the mission and initiatives of the College.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
Two years of experience in recruitment in education or workforce development
Have a valid CDL driver's license or be willing to obtain it as a condition of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of previous supervisory experience
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or relevant experience utilizing CRM systems.
Two or more years of work experience in student affairs or academic programs within a higher education or workforce development setting
Fluent Spanish speaking and writing skills
Experience with social media and web content
ADA Summary: ADA requirements for this position include critical thinking skills with the ability to process information and exercise good judgment in the collection, evaluation, and analysis of data, and student assessment, curriculum development, and program review. Other requirements include ease of mobility in supervising students in classroom/lab settings, carrying supplies and other instructional materials, ability to move, climb, or crawl under equipment, use of keyboard, effective use of all forms of communication (oral, written, visual, auditory), and the ability to perform general teaching and office duties and travel to other campus locations.
