Exempt = not eligible for overtime Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with occasional evening and weekend work required. Salary: Targeted salary range: $61,400-67,400 Travel: 26-50% Brief Statement of Duties Brief Statement of Duties:
Responsible for performance quality control and assessment for academy school improvement planning. Provide training, professional development, and support to charter schools to improve academic performance. Review and evaluate academy performance with educational goals and programs concerning school improvement and charter contracts.
Responsible for serving as Director in the Director's absence. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: Master's Degree Discipline / Degree Area:
Education Leadership, Curriculum or related field Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Required Minimum Work Experience: Five years' K-12 teaching or administrative work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Knowledge of principles and methods for quality control, curriculum, and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and with administrative colleagues.
Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Time management skills. Additional Desirable Qualifications Additional Desirable Qualifications: Educational Specialist or Doctorate Degree.
Experience working in or with public schools and charter authorizers in Michigan.
Research and assessment experience.
Experience leading large-scale multi-day programs for 300+ people including working with on-campus resources and off-site partners (e.g., transportation, housing, meals, facilities, historical society, and local museums/parks). Other Special Instructions to Applicants:
