The Assistant Director is a key role in the Center on the Ecology of Early Development (CEED) that is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of center plans and goals. Reporting to the Director the Assistant Director ensures that all administrative activities are conducted seamlessly through careful attention to detail, effective communications, and consistent follow-through.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a university or non-profit environment.
• 3+ Years of experience

Required Skills: In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and ability to learn new software quickly and effectively.

Willingness to learn new processes, programs, and systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks, assess priorities, and track details in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to perform complex administrative duties with discretion, including written and verbal communications on highly sensitive and confidential financial and human resource matters Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work under pressure, self-motivation, high energy and engagement and a positive attitude. Collaborative working style and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across a variety of functional areas with colleagues of all levels. Proficiency with website management (WordPress) preferred skill.
