The Office of the Dean, Clemmer College is accepting applications for an Assistant Dean of Fiscal Affairs and Administration.
The person in this role will join a dynamic leadership team and is responsible to the Dean for all administrative, budgetary, and financial oversight for the Clemmer College of Education and Human Development. Additional expectations include responsibility for ensuring compliance with established college, university, THEC, and federal policies as well as compliance with policies and procedures of external accrediting bodies for the college concerning financial matters. This position will serve as a member of the college senior leadership team, direct and oversee college-wide activities related to budgeting and financial management operations and programs, and personnel administration.

Knowledge of technology related to budgetary management and the reporting and presentation
Knowledge of university THEC policies, procedures, and processes
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, faculty, staff, and administration; and work within teams
Ability to solve problems and resolve conflict
Knowledge of computers and various software packages including spreadsheets, databases, and presentation graphics
Skills in data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and reporting
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
Ability to work independently
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various internal and external constituents
Ability to supervise employees in a fair and equitable manner
Ability to provide constructive feedback and education to improve performance
Required Qualifications
Or
Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with minimum 3 years of experience in fiscal management or accounting.
Demonstrated record of success in fiscal management
Preferred Qualifications
Grant fiscal management experience
Experience in higher education finance or administration
