ROLE of the POSITION
This is a full time, 12 month faculty position, available February 1, 2019. The individual in this position provides oversight of assessment protocols and is responsible for development, implementation, assessment, and quality management of the various venues of dental education, both pre-doctoral and post-graduate. This individual is further responsible for establishing and managing the faculty development programs, whether seminars, education opportunities, service and/or grant opportunities, or teaching.
This position requires minimum a DMD, DDS, PhD, or equivalents from a regionally accredited college or university and minimum of:
3-5 years' experience in assessment and quality management, supervisory level, and/or higher equivalent managerial skills, in a dental academic setting. Demonstrated leadership and creative accomplishments in the area of quality assurance, assessment, faculty development, and educational methodology. License Eligible NV if Applicable Demonstrated record of academic performance consistent with assistant professor. Demonstrated ability to work in an organizational structure with multiple clinics/sites/reporting constituents.
Required: Doctoral Degree: DMD/DDS or PhD/EdD or equivalent.
