As an Assistant Corporate Facility Security Officer in Moog's Corporate Group you will be working under the direction of the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure compliance with U.S. Government regulations for classified contracts in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other regulatory directives.
What you can expect day-to-day:
Process personnel for U.S. Government security clearances and reinvestigations using JPAS and DISS, maintain JPAS/DISS PSMnet: process VARs; track foreign travel forms and provide foreign travel briefings (when necessary).
Submit foreign suspicious contact reports, complete and submit SF-312 forms and specialized briefings (as required), issue and track initial and annual refresher security briefings, support FSO with policy and procedures updates, authorize user access to information technology equipment and generally monitor security administration and personnel security activities reporting deficiencies to FSO for resolution or corrective action.
Work with Information System (IS) managers to perform desktop contingency plan exercises and approve contingency plan, and review IS audit record findings for unusual activity.
On an ad hoc and limited basis act as the designed initial point of contact for the U.S. Government in the absence of the FSO.
Minimum Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 7 to 10 years' experience in corporate and /or legal compliance activities.
Prior industrial security experience and training preferred.
Must possess, or able to obtain, an active top secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Complete mandatory training, refresher training and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Interpret and apply NISPOM, Defense Security Service Assessment and Authorization Process Manual and other required regulatory directives.
Proficient using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and databases including but not limited to, Joint Personnel Adjudication System, Defense Information System for Security, Secure Web Fingerprint Transaction, National Industrial Security System, Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System, Wide Area Work Flow and Office of Business Management System.
