Description

• Performs daily husbandry tasks for laboratory animals

• Provides daily animal health and welfare observations

• Provides assistance to Investigators and Veterinary Services personnel

• Follows all state and federal regulations regarding the care and use of laboratory animals at this facility and of large animals at off site location from time to time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) at the Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) level

• Minimum of 6 months experience or certification at the Assistant Lab Animal Technician (ALAT) level with at least 1 year of experience
