We are seeking a candidate with a robust background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a role as Assistant Controller. Reporting directly to the Division Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting the divisions finance team by assisting in the preparation of key financial data, management reports, bank reports, and various financial models. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders as required.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure timely reporting of essential financial and operational data.

  • Prepare, obtain final approval, and distribute internal and external scheduled reporting packages to relevant parties.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining various financial models related to new product development, revenue, profitability, cash flow, and customer opportunities.

  • Conduct "what-if" analyses as requested.

  • Investigate and address any issues impacting financial policies and procedures, keeping management informed and recommending necessary policy or procedure changes.

  • Conduct research and analysis on capital expenditure opportunities, rates of return, and other financial metrics, providing recommendations to management.

  • Support company budget and annual operating plan development, and analyze actual results compared to budget and operating plan.

  • Collaborate with Finance and business unit management to develop revenue, cost, cash flow, and earnings forecasts over multiple time horizons.

  • Work closely with internal audit staff and external auditors, providing requested support documentation in a timely manner.

  • Maintain regular communication with all areas of the Finance group, keeping FP&A management informed of any issues requiring attention.

  • Undertake additional job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field with 3 to 5 years relevant experience.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate results to team

  • Strong written and oral and communication skills

  • Strong overall interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management

  • Must have financial modeling skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must have a comprehensive and expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Word and PowerPoint or comparable analytical and presentation software.

  • Must be a motivated self-starter.
