Scope of Responsibility: Responsible for specific corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger, timely month end close, compliance reporting, and other general accounting functions for Greencroft Communities and affiliates.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and timely completion, in accordance with all GAAP and long-term care cost reporting requirements.

  • Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet review and account reconciliations to ensure accurate transactions.

  • Assist with preparation and analysis of Annual Operating and Capital budgets, including reconciliation to budgeted priorities and variance reporting.

  • Assist with annual external audit requests, cost report \ audit preparation as well as IRS 990 tax return data requests.

  • Lead accounting projects to gain processing efficiencies including general ledger \ financial reporting updates, AP system updates and other projects as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required, or significant work-related experience.
  • 1-3 years prior healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet capabilities.

  • General ledger knowledge and experience

  • Reporting, reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal relationships.
