JOB SUMMARY Based in Suwanee, Georgia, this position reports to the Global Director of Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end to end accounting processes - covering Accounts Receivable, Capex, percentage of completion and job costing, and other accounting functions completed for WSI North America.

Expected to develop and manage a team of 4 associates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages Accounting team, Capex, cash reconciliation, and other accounting processes while continuously improving our processes, and refining our internal controls for these areas. Own month-end closing of general ledger and sub-modules including preparing, posting, and reviewing of journal entries; prepare and/or review account reconciliations, reports, and schedules, and/or bank reconciliations according to US GAAP.

Manage percentage of completion and project-based job costing Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and details to support expenses, tax liability, and/or other financial activities. Own account reconciliations and monthly balance sheet accounts including assets and liabilities, account roll forwards, and other reports required for corporate accounting. Ensure adequacy of Company's internal controls, and compliance with Company plans, policies, and procedures Implement month-end closing improvements to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures and to ensure the most effective and efficient operations.

Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Coordinates responses to internal and external audits Develop and implement process improvements Drive continuous improvement in the accounting organizations by assessing, mentoring and developing accounting team Other ad hoc projects as needed PROFILE LEVEL DESCRIPTION Manages professional employees and/or supervisors. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA preferred 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, or related field with exposure to end-to-end accounting environment Previous experience in a supervisory role required and a manufacturing background a plus Exposure to international intercompany transactions a plus Exposure to Canadian Taxes such as GST, PST, etc. a plus Oracle experience a plus Percentage of Completion and Project-based job costing experience a plus Critical thinker Strong communication skills Self-starter and team player Powered by JazzHR
