Assistant Construction Project Manager

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our team In this role, you will support the Project Manager in overseeing various aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. If you have 2 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager and are looking for a new challenge, keep reading Key Responsibilities Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and updating timelines as needed Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily reports Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders Support budget management, cost tracking, and financial reporting Assist in quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with standards and regulations Help implement and monitor safety protocols on construction sites Coordinate equipment, materials, and labor resources Organize and participate in project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items Support risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address issues Assist with vendor selection, purchase orders, and material deliveries Prepare project status reports and presentations for management and clients Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field 2 years of experience in construction project management Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and industry standards Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience with Medical and Healthcare projects is a big plus Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience on medical commercial projects is a plus If you are a motivated individual with a passion for construction and a desire to grow in project management, we encourage you to apply.
