The role is an entry level construction management position that provides support for projects led by a Director of Construction or Senior Director of Construction. Acting as the Owner's Representative, you will plan, direct, and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure plans are effectively completed within set schedules and budgets, always adhering to Aimco's policies and procedures and to federal, state, and local regulations.

In addition, the Associate Director:
Captures the information necessary to assist with writing scopes of work.
Acts as the field supervisor for ongoing construction projects.
Recruits new vendors; processes contracts; acts as a liaison between vendors and site operational personnel; facilitates payment for vendor services.
Assists with ensuing project quality our high standards by monitoring performance under contract requirements.
Collects and organizes all project related documents; updates project progress in our cloud-based project management software.
May assist with the development of project plans, bid vetting and related budget scheduling.
Provides operational support for specialized problems and assists in emergency situations.

An undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field preferred.
