POSITION: Assistant Concessions Manager
Pay Range: $15.00/hour- Based on Experience
Seasonal Part Time
SUMMARY
This position assists the Food Services Manager in oversight of all concessions employees at Tuacahn Center For The Arts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Assists the Food Services Manager in training of all concessions staff.
Assigning and directing work for all nightly concessions staff.
Ensure that concessions area are properly managed and staffed for all events.
Maintaining all Concession equipment cleanliness and general maintenance.
Comply with Health Department regulations.
Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must.
Position is very hands on with much interaction with staff and customers during events.
Must be friendly and service oriented.
All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises multiple team members in Concessions. Carries out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Tuacahn policies.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Point of Sale systems knowledge preferred, but can be trained.
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be eligible to work in the United States
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to meet the physical demands of this job
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the
facility.
Excellent organizational, planning, communication and inter-personal skills.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Moderate to extreme exposure to noise during events.
Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling of heavy objects.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Food Handlers Permit required within 30 days of hire.
HOURS OF WORK
Ability to work 3-4 nights per week, including weekends and holidays.
