The position?

We are seeking an outstanding Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Hawthorne Park, our 120-unit senior affordable community located in Orlando, Florida.

The Assistant Community Manager should possess high energy, be able to multi-task and work with a diverse team. Expert communication and relationship-building skills paired with outstanding customer service and the ability to embrace a shared responsibility environment will make you a successful candidate!

What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Assistant Community Manager?

Responsibilities

  • Marketing of property
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to create and implement resident activities and calendar
  • Coordinate with Manage to oversee the activity of the website and social media networks
  • Assist in the coordination of concierge service and participating vendors
  • Assist with Rent collection, maintain availability
  • Management of leasing and renewals for the community
  • Coordinate invoices, vendors, and work orders with maintenance staff
  • Ensure the highest levels of quality are being maintained for the asset, services, and resident satisfaction
  • Report to the Property Manager

Requirements

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college preferred
  • Previous property management experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) a plus
  • Must have knowledge of property management software, Entrata preferred
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are required
  • Must have the ability to create relationships/rapport with tenants; ability to work with a diverse array of people and customers
  • Attendance and punctuality
  • Must be adaptable; able to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position?

  • Air-conditioned office, well-lit and well-ventilated. High level of confidentiality (confidential information with regards to financial documents during the budget process, in-coming mail, e-mail, telephone calls, vendor contracts, and lender/owner information)
  • This is a full-time position and may include after-hours and weekends
  • General office equipment use will include, but not be limited to the copier, scanner, fax, computer, tablet
  • Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively work in a standard office environment
