Reporting to the Manager, Community, we are looking for an Assistant, Community to implement efficient and effective systems and operations to ensure the Community department and broader Programs team run smoothly.

● Global Social Justice Orientation: Facility with discussion and continuous learning that roots out identity biases in a globally resonant way
● Fierce Love of Tools: Consistent documenter and organizer with exceptional facility with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets); experience with or dedication to learning new tools (Salesforce, SurveyMonkey Apply, Form Assembly, Campaign Monitor, Basecamp)
● Just-as-Fierce Love of Data: Demonstrated ability to collect, review, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data
● Sharp Prioritization: Driven by finding solutions to complex problems and juggling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, global organization
● Detail-Oriented Communication: Attention to detail in written and verbal communication across internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels (e.g. senior staff, Fellows, external judges, peers) and create error-free calendar invites, email responses, and process documents that reflect the Community Team’s voice
● Human-Centered Approach: Commitment to collaboration, laughter, and candor for oneself and others in the workplace
Benefits
Base Salary: $50,000/year

This position will be considered a nonexempt position for purposes of federal wage and hour law, which means that the employee will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given work week. This position will also require the employee to work from our office in New York City 2 days/a week and remotely 3 days/a week.
