Brown & Brown of NY, Inc. is seeking dedicated Insurance Assistant to join our Commercial Insurance department in White Plains, NY. This individual will work in tandem with Account Managers, Producers, and Team Leader to provide quality service to our clients.
Provide Account Executives, Producers and Clients with service needs updating existing accounts
Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts
Assist in the review of company issued new and renewal policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy rating, typing, endorsements forms and coverages
Issue Certificates, Evidence of Property Insurance, ID Cards, Change Requests, Invoices, etc.
Handle telephone requests and written miscellaneous correspondence
Maintain office records and files in accordance with the procedures/processes per agency procedure manual
Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines
Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, reports and follow up on overdue and suspense items.
High school diploma, required.
Bachelors degree, preferred.
3+ years of prior work experience in similar position, preferred.
Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
Experience working with AMS 360/ImageRight, preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
