Overview: Quinnipiac University's Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer to assist in program management including coaching, administration, recruitment and coordination of a collegiate Women's Soccer program.   • Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and work in compliance with all University, NCAA and MAAC Conference rules and regulations

  • Coach student-athletes during team practices as well as home and away contests

  • Assist with recruiting (on and off campus as assigned), scheduling, equipment management and team promotion

  • Assist in the future development of Women's Soccer alumni and community relations

  • Assist the Head Coach with daily/weekly/seasonal practice planning

  • Assist the Head Coach with home and away game management - book travel, book hotels, book meals, etc.

  • Other duties, as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Experience may substitute for some of the above education qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 year of experience in coaching or playing soccer, preferably at a collegiate level

  • Soccer skills

  • Effective oral and written communication

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.

  • Proficient in Social Media content

  • Proficient in Game Analysis and Video Analysis

  • Commitment to US Soccer Coaching Pathway (D License to A License)

  • Ability to manage a 2-3 hour practice

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Ability to work nights and weekends

  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
