Description

Expected start date on or after July 1, 2024.

Midway University is actively seeking a full-time Assistant Coach to join our Sprint Football program. Working closely with the Head Coach, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in recruiting talented student-athletes, implementing effective training, and conditioning programs, providing skill instruction, offering academic support, ensuring compliance, and strategizing game plans.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required. Preference will be given to candidates with defensive coaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

• Previous coordinator or assistant collegiate-level coaching experience required.

• Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.

• Adhere to Sprint Football rules and demonstrate a commitment to a compliance culture.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Clear background check and acceptable driving record required.
