The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an Assistant Coach, Softball.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Assistant Coach, Softball position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all day-to-day operations of the softball team at Georgia State University.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Recruitment and talent evaluation of student-athletes.
Coaching, training and development of student-athletes within the team concept.
Monitoring of student-athletes' academic progress and personal development.
Budget creation and management.
Tournament and practice scheduling.
Supervision of Assistant Coaches or graduate assistants.
Adherence to Georgia State University, NCAA, Sun Belt Conference rules and policies.
Development and Fundraising responsibilities to raise funds for the department and Softball program along with engagement of softball alumni.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures is required.
