TITLE: Assistant Coach, Basketball, Girls, High School

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director

SUPERVISES: Assistant Coaches

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Annual Schedule D position per NLEA Contract

PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is responsible for coaching, planning, organizing and delivering direction to student athletes leading to both a high level of skill and an appreciation for sportsmanship and teamwork.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CT State Coaching Certification; First Aid, CPR, and Concussion Certification required.

• Ability to perform successfully the performance responsibilities of the position.

• Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for performing the tasks listed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: Annually by the Athletic Director

COMPENSATION: Per NLEA Contract
