This position is involved in interdisciplinary studies focusing on questions investigating behavioral and developmental characteristics in longitudinal study cohorts of children with autism spectrum disorders. The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator duties include work primarily on the GAIN study, a study of evaluating sex differences in autism, but collaborates with the program manager and study teams across the APP/GAIN Research Program. These studies are conducted by an integrated, interdisciplinary team and some duties may be performed in service of additional studies within the lab. General responsibilities include coordinating research participation from recruitment to visits and overseeing the logistical and administrative tasks of running observational behavioral research studies. Minimum Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience coordinating human research studies, including scheduling, consenting, and running participant visits
At least 3 years of experience working directly with school-aged child with autism, intellectual disability and/or other developmental disorders in a professional setting
Demonstrated skills or direct training in behavior management techniques for school-aged children
Demonstrated interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with families, children, and professionals
Experience with desktop tools of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Ability to independently and effectively identify resources to solve problems
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to safely work in an MRI environment (such as no medical contraindications)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience administering cognitive assessments such as SB-5, WASI, WISC, or DAS-II
Experience with online tools of Microsoft Office (including OneDrive and SharePoint)
CITI trained in biomedical and/or social and behavioral research
