Job title Assistant Client Manager

Classification Hourly, Non-Exempt
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job purpose
As a member of the Client Service team, provides high level support to Client Managers and assigned clients. The position demands an individual with high level analytical, problem solving and computer skills, as the duties and responsibility are performed with minimal supervisor guidance, but within established practices. In situations where the Assistant Client Manager has direct contact with client practice groups and/or individual practitioners, they must balance advocacy for serving client needs with commitment to Coronis Health.
Duties and responsibilities
Partners with the Client Manager and acts as a liaison between Coronis Health and the client
Acts as a contact for clients with billing questions or concerns
Assists with reports and analysis of client statistics to discover problems or concerns for client, as well as researches and works to resolve the issue
Conducts necessary and timely investigations and follow up, with insurance companies, on denied and/or rejected claims, and litigation accounts according to Coronis Health practices and guidelines
Monitors and reports billing and collections trends
Daily review of client A/R pending reports
Initiate adjustments to accounts including referral to collections, write-offs, patient and insurance adjustments according to Coronis Health collection guidelines
Communicate custom billing and collection policies and procedures to companies offshore staff
Assist with pooled unit administration, including input of units, accuracy and running, checking and handling end of the month compensation reports
Analyze and interpret end of the month and regular billing and collection reports
As needed, works with members of billing and collection personnel and members of management to ensure appropriate handling of client billing and collections
Assists in contracting/credentialing by facilitating client response and tracking timeliness of open credentialing items
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2-4 years relevant work experience in a physician or medical insurance collections and/or provider relations environment
Must be able to prioritize and organize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints • Detail oriented
Strong knowledge of medical billing
Strong communication skills (both verbally and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
