You have the opportunity to become our Assistant Chief Engineer at Cancun Resort Las Vegas. Our resort, which boasts 446 units, offers spacious and well-appointed villas and penthouse suites. Responsibilities Include:

• Conducts consistent walk-throughs of each resort tower to visually assess the physical structure(s) of the building.

• Ensures and maintains safety, efficient maintenance, and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.

• Lead a team of 30-35 team members and assign all maintenance tasks.

• Ensure that the property's Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.

• Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies, and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply.

• Develops, maintains, and performs human resource management practices which include recruitment, training, performance management, and corrective action in partnership with the HR Business Partner.

• Vendor relations

• Assist the Chief Engineer in the establishment and control of the annual budget.

• Performs other related activities as required.

Qualifications

Key Skills and experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• 3+ years of related experience

• 4+ years of supervisory experience

• EPA - OSHA 10-30 - CPO certifications

• HVAC - Electrical - plumbing-specific certification.

• Experience leading a department with team members covered by a CBA

• Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Flexible Schedule

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
• CPR/First Aid
