Assistant Category Manager - Procurement BPO
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is looking for an Assistant Category Manager for the Procurement BPO that reports to the Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day system support for the purchasing process of SAP and Mercado Eletronico
Responsible for the relationship between the business, IT and project manager for P2P enhancements
Maintain solid working relationships with our supplier base and our plant staff
Enforce SOX compliance through our purchasing process and system governance
Lead internal and external (market) data and analytics requests from category manager teams
Analyze procurement data to provide visibility on key process automation savings opportunities and assist in developing a roadmap for our savings target
Manage and control workflows and enhancement of purchasing controls
Lead the procurement process on future improvements of the P2P ECC to S4/Hana upgrades
Implement ERP systems into new business acquisitions
Streamlining Global systems synergy within the JBS procurement platforms
Responsible for supporting and assisting various procurement functions with spend analytics, business intelligence, and report generation
Manage direct reports and purchasing process
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining day to day responsibilities
Provide Process improvement solutions to improve efficiency at plant level
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience with procurements operations and procurement systems
Technical proficiency in appropriate procurement systems and analytical tools like MS office, SAP, and BI data reporting
Process oriented with the ability to learn quickly
Talent for building relationships and developing cross-functional understanding
Excellent communication, day to day management and project management skills
Self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity
Strong analytical, business process and problem-solving capabilities
Team player with a positive attitude who can work with international teams
4+ year of analytical and/or SAP experience required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is a differential
Experience with procurement or related fields is a differential
Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $70,000-$90,000; and
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
