Assistant Category Manager

Stuller, Inc. is the largest jewelry manufacturing and distribution facility in the United States and an industry leader in the domestic and international jewelry sectors. The position of Assistant Category Manager - Packaging & Displays is responsible for supporting strategic projects aimed at enhancing the profitability of the Packaging and Displays category under the leadership of the Category Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing a merchandising plan aligned with product lifecycle strategies.

• Collaborate with external vendors to curate an offering of on trend and essential products based on an assortment plan.

• Lead pricing negotiations and adjustments with vendors.

• Partner with marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for new product launches.

• Analyze industry trends and market conditions to drive product decisions.

• Assist in category review tasks such as promotional planning and product content management.

• Utilize reporting tools to analyze business performance and optimize profitability.

• Execute promotions, enhance product content, and optimize online navigation.

• Prepare category analytics and identify opportunities to drive online sales.

• Review KPI & web behavior metrics to generate data driven insights and actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in merchandising or business management roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.

• Intuitive sense for design and merchandising.

• Adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in vendor negotiation and pricing strategies.

• Familiarity with retail merchandising software/tools.
