ASSISTANT BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

QUALIFICATIONS:

• New Jersey School Business Administrator Certificate, eligibility, CPA or Master's Degree in Accounting

• School or public agency experience

• Experience in budget preparation and administration and understanding of statutory and code requirements related to school budgeting.

• Understanding the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with statute and code requirements.

• Knowledge of statutory requirements and accepted practices in school districts related to insurance, purchasing, transportation, food services, school plant operations and facilities planning.

• Understanding of statutory requirements related to public employment and collective bargaining.

• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of software applications

SALARY: At the recommondatin of the Superintendent, the salary offer is based upon the skills and experience of the successful candidate and in accordance with the duties of the position.
