Assistant Building Administrator Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
Have linear core values to the Lincoln Charter School mission and community expectations.
Believes in the importance of college preparation
Models the Lincoln Charter community expectations: honesty, respect, empathy, responsibility, service and preparedness
Assist with the revision and creation of policies and procedures as needed
Have a growth mindset that:
Influences the evolution of culture to support the continuous improvement of the school
Empowers staff to recommend creative, 21st century concepts for school improvement.
Monitors data sources for student attendance, discipline and academic performance consistently to make intentional and student focused decisions.
Is a driving force behind implementation of school wide initiatives that:
Challenge the status quo
Emphasize inspirational leadership, rather than managerial leadership
Hire and evaluate staff
Provides growth minded feedback and coaching after all teacher observations.
Knows and understands what the CORE curriculum and instruction should look like in each discipline
Provide exceptional customer service, including:
Encourages parent involvement
Easily accessible to teachers and staff
Follows LCS communication expectation with all stakeholders
Attendance at after school activities
Must have a willingness to support and implement school programs
Master's degree or higher level of education. Concentration in an education or leadership/management related subject.
Experience including instructional leadership and/or coaching.
Work with campus testing (coordination, scheduling, etc.)
Field Trip Contact for campus activities (K-12) including overnight trips
Club Activity Contact (K-12)
Complete classroom observations as needed
Assist with building administrators with discipline as needed
Complete other duties as assigned by building administrators
