The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Attorney General for the Charity Enforcement Division.
Job Summary:
The OAG's Charity Enforcement Division (CED) protects donors, charitable beneficiaries, and charitable organizations by enforcing the Solicitation of Charitable Contributions Act, the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act, and other state laws. The CED also collaborates with other states to target issues of regional or national concern. Additionally, the CED offers outreach to educate donors and charitable organizations.
The CED Assistant Attorney General will direct investigations and litigate both civil and criminal matters. The Assistant Attorney General will further advise on issues of concern, participate in multistate efforts, conduct outreach, and perform other duties as the CED requires.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be licensed attorneys, with at least two (2) years of experience in the practice of law. Strong writing and oral advocacy skills are required. Preference may be given to applicants with experience in accounting or the nonprofit sector.
