Assist the head athletic trainer in the prevention and treatment of sports related injuries and conditions.
Maintains medical records on athletes.
Provides treatment and rehabilitation for student athletes.
Provides pre-event preparation and emergency coverage at intercollegiate and competitions.
Works with the team physician to make decisions regarding athlete's readiness for activity following injury.
Travels with teams to provide athletic training services.
Covers summer sports camps as scheduled by Head Athletic Trainer
Follows NCAA compliance guidelines
Follows HIPPA protocols as directed
Bachelor's degree required.
Previous collegiate athletic training experience is preferred.
National Athletic Trainer's Association Certification and current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer, or equivalent.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
Position will remain open until filled. This position is full-time for 11 months with the month of July off.
